Mr. Sturgeon replaces current General Manager, Steve Ray, who was recently appointed Chief Operating Officer of Essex Power Corporation as well as President & CEO of Utilismart Corporation.

Sturgeon previously acted as Vice President and Lead in Sales & Marketing for Burman Energy and has over 12 years of experience in the energy market. In his past, Sturgeon has worked in progressive operations, sales, and marketing roles with firms that include Rodan Energy, Shoppertrak RCT, Lexmark Canada, HP Canada and Custom Images. Sturgeon’s extensive experience will help build Essex Energy’s distributed energy resources profile and expand its diverse set of products and engineering services.
