On August 2, 2013 Essex Energy hosted the University of Windsor’s ASHRAE Student Branch at our 400kW Vollmer Complex solar PV site in August. The group consisted mainly of engineering students. We had a great time presenting how the system (and solar PV in general) works. We also discussed the benefits of distributed renewable generation located at sites that consume considerable amounts of electricity (particularly during “peak” hours).
This is just one more example of how Essex Energy is working collaboratively with local education institutions.
